Carteret County Speedway has postponed the regular season finale to October 29th, now being run alongside the Battlefield Tire Pros Mini Stock Mayhem event.
The event was scheduled for October 8th originally but postponed due to Hurricane Matthew and moved to October 22nd. However, as a result of the continued flooding, road closures and ongoing recovery efforts, Carteret County Speedway will now run on October 29th.
In addition to the road closures, Carteret County Speedway owner Bobby Watson is helping out with the recovery efforts with his land clearing and tree removal company.
The October 29th race will be headlined by the 100 lap Mini Stock Mayhem event and will also feature racing for Late Models, Street Stocks, U-CARs as well as the East Coast Flathead Ford Association and the INEX Legends division. Additional details will be announced in the upcoming days.
