SWANSBORO, NC – Carteret County Speedway has postponed the Battlefield Tire Pros Mini Stock Mayhem race to Saturday, October 29th due to the looming threat from Hurricane Matthew.

Matthew, a major hurricane, is forecast to hit the North Carolina Coast over the weekend.  With many driver traveling from out of town to come to the race, Carteret County Speedway has decided it is in the best interest to postpone the event right now.

The 100 lap, $1,200-to-win Mini Stock Mayhem race will be the headline act on October 29th.

The rest of the races that were scheduled for October 8th as part of the Budweiser Saturday Night Shootout will be run on Saturday, October 22nd.
